About the role

  • Business Analyst responsible for analyzing client processes and configuring Vena's AI-powered financial platform. Seeking a detail-oriented individual for remote work with a focus on business needs and technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and detailed analysis.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear and concise functional specifications, user stories, and process diagrams.
  • Analyse and map current financial processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation using the Vena platform.
  • Serve as a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions align perfectly with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirement documents and solution designs.
  • Assist in the testing and validation of new features and configurations to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Support project managers in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication across all project stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a technology or finance-focused environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business process analysis.
  • A solid understanding of core financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fully remote environment.
  • A degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with FP&A software, BI tools, or experience working with Microsoft technologies would be a distinct advantage.
