About the role

  • Business Development Representative building Ramp’s Canadian market through outbound prospecting. Creating qualified fintech sales opportunities and pipeline for Account Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Build Ramp’s presence in the Canadian market
  • Source new business across Canada through outbound prospecting and outreach
  • Identify finance, operations, and executive stakeholders within target accounts
  • Execute personalized multi-channel outbound campaigns
  • Run cold calls and consultative discovery
  • Articulate and tailor Ramp’s value to prospective customers
  • Handle objections with curiosity, composure, and persistence
  • Maintain accurate activity, account, contact, and opportunity data in Salesforce
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on feedback, competitive insights, and local-market learnings
  • Create qualified opportunities and high-quality pipeline for Account Executives

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work 3x a week in Ramp’s Toronto office
  • Professional proficiency or native-level fluency in French is nice to have
  • Experience exceeding quota in a B2B SDR/BDR or other outbound sales role is nice to have
  • Experience selling B2B software, financial services, fintech, or to finance/executive teams is nice to have
  • Experience with Salesforce, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Outreach is nice to have
  • Familiarity with the Canadian business or fintech landscape is nice to have
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
