About the role
- Technical Consultant helping Ramp, a financial infrastructure platform, integrate Microsoft Dynamics F&O for complex enterprise customers. Designing scalable ERP solutions and influencing product roadmaps through customer feedback.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Technical Consultant for enterprise accounts running Microsoft F&O in complex multi-entity, multi-ERP, and global financial environments
- Advise customers and internal teams on high-value implementations and expansion opportunities, including Microsoft F&O integration, configuration, and system design
- Assess customer requirements and propose scalable solutions involving F&O, HRIS, and API integrations
- Partner with onboarding specialists and implementation leads on technical workstreams
- Troubleshoot technical hurdles and propose effective product implementations
- Conduct technical discovery of customer F&O environments and workflows
- Recommend best-fit Ramp architecture, including when and how to use Ramp’s API
- Serve as a subject matter expert on F&O and Ramp accounting integration capabilities
- Partner with Sales, Product, and external partners to advocate for integration development
- Troubleshoot Dynamics F&O integration blockers and guide complex configuration decisions
- Contribute to internal documentation and tooling for F&O integration use cases
- Channel customer pain points and feedback to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field
- 4+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in a SaaS or fintech environment
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics F&O, including financials modules, integration patterns, and enterprise deployment models
- Deep familiarity with accounting workflows, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Subledger Accounting, and multi-org structures
- Comfort working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture
- Ability to explain technical concepts to finance and operations stakeholders
- Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and Design on enterprise-driven gaps and roadmap decisions
- Ability to advise on non-standard F&O implementations and edge cases
- Strong communication skills to translate complex technical solutions into business value
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering
- Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
