About the role

  • Senior .NET C# engineer automating equity and options trading infrastructures for RBC, Canada’s largest bank. Designing enterprise solutions, UI tools, and DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automations for building, testing, and delivering enterprise solutions for trading technologies
  • Develop UI, messaging, data distribution, and collaboration solutions using C# (WPF) and .Net Framework
  • Work with core engineers, trading support, quants, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and test enterprise trading infrastructure solutions
  • Participate in DevOps, including continuous integration pipelines, code quality tools, and release methodologies
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation across the SDLC ecosystem
  • Communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and employees across Canada and worldwide

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Advanced-level C#/.Net experience
  • Ability to use best practices and industry standards to develop solid, maintainable UI tools
  • 4+ years of experience building enterprise solutions
  • Proficiency with Linux and CI/CD integration tools
  • Intermediate database query coding and knowledge
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments while delivering quality solutions
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Capital markets experience is nice to have
  • Experience building enterprise solutions for trading automations is nice to have
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge or experience in Java, C++, or Python is nice to have
