About the role

  • Private Banker delivering RBC’s Black Card Experience to very high-net-worth clients. Building relationships, acquiring clients, and coordinating wealth, credit, cash-management, and banking solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-end relationship management and proactive advice to very high net worth households following all five principles of the Black Card Experience
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience and build client loyalty
  • Introduce clients to the right RBC partners and capabilities, including Wealth Management Advisors/Counsellors and Commercial Account Managers
  • Be present in the community to provide proactive advice and solutions beyond immediate needs
  • Build and maintain external Centres of Influence and internal partner networks to acquire new clients
  • Introduce Private Banking Associate and Advisor teams as key advisors for day-to-day banking needs
  • Introduce Credit Structures teams as credit experts for advice and solutions
  • Support partner teams by respecting and reinforcing role clarity
  • Represent RBC Private Banking as an ambassador for the business

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing advice and solutions to high net worth clients
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Thorough understanding of high net worth financial sales and client relationship management
  • Financial Planning Designation (PFP® or CFP®)
  • Mutual Fund Dealer – Dealing Representative License
  • Experience in Commercial Financial Services (nice-to-have)
  • Experience in Personal Financial Planning (nice-to-have)
  • Experience leading a team within the Financial Industry (nice-to-have)
  • Professional designations such as CFA, CPA, MBA, LL.B., FEA (nice-to-have)
