About the role

  • Personal Banker advising TD Canada Trust customers on personalized investment and credit solutions. Building relationships, conducting financial reviews, and supporting branch service goals.

Responsibilities

  • Advise customers on high-level financial solutions across investment and credit banking products
  • Engage customers through thoughtful financial questions and create positive experiences
  • Provide personalized financial advice, answer questions, and address concerns
  • Refer matters to appropriate team members or partners while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
  • Act as a point of contact for frontline staff handling customer problems
  • Maintain professional common areas according to marketing and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest personalized solutions
  • Stay current on emerging issues, regulations, and industry codes of conduct
  • Participate in process improvement opportunities
  • Achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets
  • Prepare documents consistently with relevant regulations and business intentions
  • Participate as a team member, mentor colleagues, and address communication issues efficiently

Requirements

  • High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience
  • Completion of IFIC or equivalent required
  • CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired
  • Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset
  • Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions and concepts
  • Proficiency in software tools including MS Office and internet applications
  • Tactful communication skills to exchange ideas and customer information concisely and logically
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset
