About the role

  • Senior Personal Banker guiding TD Bank customers through home borrowing and financial solutions. Building relationships, providing advice, and growing branch market share in Calgary.

Responsibilities

  • Create a consistent and exceptional customer experience in the branch, with specialty and predominant focus in home borrowing advice and experiences
  • Provide advice on Real Estate Secured Lending products, investing, day-to-day banking, and TD products and services
  • Ask thoughtful questions to uncover customer needs and own solutions aligned with the mandate
  • Improve customer financial confidence through ongoing dialogue, answers, and advice
  • Act as a subject matter expert for customers and colleagues regarding TD products, services, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain a professional and inviting branch environment in accordance with premises, marketing, and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct proactive customer outreach via phone, email, and other channels
  • Be present in the community for additional customer outreach
  • Maintain knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends
  • Ensure customer and business documentation is accurate and retained according to policy
  • Participate as a team member and support a positive, service-oriented work environment
  • Attract, acquire, and retain customers, advice opportunities, and referrals to drive TD growth and market share

Requirements

  • High School diploma and/or
  • Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in a related field) preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) accreditation or equivalent within 90 days of start date
  • Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA) within 6 months of start date
  • Must be mobile within the Assigned District
  • Geographic mobility is a condition of employment
  • Internal TD candidates: IFC accreditation or equivalent prior to start date
  • Internal TD candidates: CFSA prior to start date
  • External candidates: IFC accreditation or equivalent within 90 days of start date
  • External candidates: CFSA within 6 months of start date
