About the role

  • Private Client Associate supporting high-net-worth clients by managing portfolios and handling administrative tasks. Role involves collaboration with investment counsellors in a high-profile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve all client inquiries, administrative errors, etc.
  • Be a key support to the administrative activities and responsibilities of the team
  • Ensure trades are processed accurately and on a timely basis
  • Manage all aspects of account opening and documentation and maintain client cash flows and balances
  • Maintain records and files and attend client meetings as required
  • Proactively assist with client management of appointments and scheduled meetings/calls
  • Stay current with all RBC Policies & Procedures
  • Assist other team members and continue to strengthen cross-business working relationships
  • Ensure all clients and staff is attended to in a highly professional, efficient and courteous manner
  • Become one of the main points of contact for day-to-day technology and premises troubleshooting
  • Liaise with appropriate functional departments to minimize client and staff disruption
  • Help manage incoming communications from clients, Investment Counsellors and other internal and external partners
  • Contribute to team by assisting with coordinating any staff functions
  • Complete expense reports for Counsellors and order courier supplies, maintain access card log list for audit purposes, order marketing material for the office
  • Various other duties and projects as assigned by the Manager, Practice Enablement

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in the Investment Industry
  • Prior receptionist experience in a professional and high profile office environment
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Be able to work under high pressure
  • Exceptional communication verbal and written communication skills
  • CSC
  • University Degree
