Private Client Associate supporting high-net-worth clients by managing portfolios and handling administrative tasks. Role involves collaboration with investment counsellors in a high-profile environment.
Responsibilities
Identify, investigate, and resolve all client inquiries, administrative errors, etc.
Be a key support to the administrative activities and responsibilities of the team
Ensure trades are processed accurately and on a timely basis
Manage all aspects of account opening and documentation and maintain client cash flows and balances
Maintain records and files and attend client meetings as required
Proactively assist with client management of appointments and scheduled meetings/calls
Stay current with all RBC Policies & Procedures
Assist other team members and continue to strengthen cross-business working relationships
Ensure all clients and staff is attended to in a highly professional, efficient and courteous manner
Become one of the main points of contact for day-to-day technology and premises troubleshooting
Liaise with appropriate functional departments to minimize client and staff disruption
Help manage incoming communications from clients, Investment Counsellors and other internal and external partners
Contribute to team by assisting with coordinating any staff functions
Complete expense reports for Counsellors and order courier supplies, maintain access card log list for audit purposes, order marketing material for the office
Various other duties and projects as assigned by the Manager, Practice Enablement
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in the Investment Industry
Prior receptionist experience in a professional and high profile office environment
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Be able to work under high pressure
Exceptional communication verbal and written communication skills
