About the role

  • Senior Red Team Operator conducting adversary emulation, Purple Team exercises, and offensive research for RBC, a global financial institution.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Red Team operations, Purple Team exercises, and hypothesis-led engagements in mature production environments
  • Lead projects end-to-end from scoping and proposal writing through execution, reporting, and stakeholder debriefs
  • Develop offensive capabilities including exploit development, novel C2 channels, and automation
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
  • Help evolve and improve team processes and service offerings
  • Work alongside offensive and defensive security experts on complex operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years in cybersecurity, with Red Team or penetration testing experience
  • Strong track record executing attacks against Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID
  • Experience running social engineering campaigns
  • Proficiency in evading EDRs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Strong technical report writing experience
  • Deep understanding of OSINT collection and operationalization
  • Experience building and managing C2 infrastructure
  • Knowledge of social engineering tactics
  • Experience with exploitation across operating systems and applications
  • Experience with lateral movement and privilege escalation in Windows AD, Entra ID, Windows OS, and macOS
  • Knowledge of evasion techniques for AV and EDR
  • One or multiple industry-recognized certifications such as OSCP, OSWP, or CRTO
  • AI Red Teaming experience (nice-to-have)
  • Hardware hacking skills (nice-to-have)
  • Experience in the financial sector (nice-to-have)
