About the role
- Lead SAS-to-Python migration developer for BMO US Analytics. Migrating analytics workloads while leading coding standards, reviews, testing, and Linux job scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the SAS to Python migration, from design to delivery
- Set coding standards and run code reviews
- Own the work end to end
- Migrate SAS code and workloads to Python
- Write and debug SQL and Python
- Write unit tests
- Schedule and run jobs on Linux/Unix with CRON
- Work in Git/GitHub, SAS Enterprise Guide, and JupyterHub
Requirements
- Python (Anaconda), SQL, and SAS
- Netezza and Redshift

- Proven technical leadership of a migration or similar delivery
