About the role

  • DevOps Specialist optimizing infrastructure and deployment cycles for Robotiq's innovative automation solutions. Collaborating with development teams to enhance software delivery and security.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy and maintain our infrastructures using Terraform and configure development workstations with Ansible.
  • Manage our Kubernetes clusters, handle deployments via Helm and drive continuous delivery with ArgoCD.
  • Optimize our GitLab CI pipelines in a monorepo environment to ensure fast and secure releases.
  • Monitor application performance with Grafana, track errors with Sentry and ensure high availability.
  • Support our development teams who primarily code with artificial intelligence and use AI at the core of our products.
  • Integrate static (SAST) and dynamic (DAST) security testing into pipelines and manage secrets centrally.
  • Take a structured approach to control cloud and AI platform costs.
  • Implement and maintain tools that improve the development practices of the software team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or DEC in software engineering/computer science
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Cloud expertise: Proven mastery of Google Cloud (GCP). Knowledge of AWS is also desirable
  • DevOps tools: Proficiency with the Kubernetes ecosystem, Terraform, ArgoCD and GitLab pipelines/runners
  • DevOps mindset: You are passionate about optimizing ways of working to deliver customer value faster and make developers' lives easier
  • Software development: Your background includes software development and you are ready to join the software team during peak periods
  • Automation culture: You favor automation, automated testing and disciplined package management
  • Security mindset: You consider security and secret management to be fundamental pillars of any modern infrastructure
