About the role

  • Account Manager completing Rockwell Automation’s EDGE sales and consulting training. Building industrial customer relationships and growing sales across Canadian field offices.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Rockwell Automation's EDGE Technical Sales and Consulting Program, combining sales, technical, and professional training in classroom and on-the-job settings
  • Build relationships with the world's producers
  • Partner with customers, systems integrators, and industry partners to solve industry challenges
  • Develop and implement sales plans to meet annual sales goals
  • Grow market share and customer spend
  • Build relationships at assigned accounts
  • Connect customers with Rockwell products and services
  • Build a network of people and customers
  • Communicate complex information with directness, empathy, and simplicity
  • Deliver results and maintain accountability
  • After completing the program, work in a Rockwell field sales office across Canada

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Legal authorization to work in the Canada is required; Rockwell Automation will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future
  • A valid Canadian driver's license
  • Ability to travel 10-40% of the time, varying depending on client and needs
  • Preferred: Previous intern experience with Rockwell Automation, Partner Network, or customers
  • Preferred: Comfortability working with a variety of individuals
  • Preferred: Previous co-op or intern experience in manufacturing or customer-facing role
  • Preferred: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Engineering Sales, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain, or similar technical degrees
  • Preferred degree candidates graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027, or within the past 3 years from Spring 2027
