About the role
- Bengali AI linguistic evaluator assessing linguistic accuracy, localization, and cultural relevance. Providing structured feedback to improve RWS’s next-generation AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Interact with an AI assistant in Bengali
- Translate provided prompts from English into Bengali and use them to interact with the AI application
- Evaluate the quality of AI-generated responses according to project guidelines
- Assess localization quality, including linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and cultural appropriateness
- Provide structured evaluations and feedback following project instructions and quality standards
- Assess how effectively an AI application performs in Bengali
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Bengali
- Excellent command of grammar, spelling, linguistic nuances, and cultural context of Bengali
- Ability to accurately translate prompts from English into Bengali
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Languages, Philology, Literature, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience; or minimum 5 years of professional experience in language-related work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed guidelines
- Ability to independently evaluate AI-generated content and provide consistent quality assessments
- Comfortable working with structured evaluation criteria and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, objective feedback
- Access to at least one personal device running iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS
- Must be based in Canada
