Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining software tools that aid our FME development teams.
Practicing Kanban style Agile Development with Jira
Researching and Learning new tools and technologies
Managing automation pipelines via Jenkins
Participate in team meetings to provide updates and report newly-identified issues
Collaborate with Product Owners and Development teams in order to plan upcoming projects effectively
Utilizing Cloud Infrastructure for testing and development.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
2-4 years of DevOps and Platform Engineering or related work experience
You are familiar with scripting languages such as Python, Powershell and/or Bash
Knowledge or experience with Docker and or Kubernetes.
Knowledge or experience with Cloud Platforms: Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure.
You have a working knowledge of databases and SQL.
You are self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn new tools and the latest technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
