About the role
- Product Designer shaping SafetyWing’s global health, insurance, and retirement products. Leading scalable design systems and user experiences for remote workers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead product design initiatives from conception to final execution
- Drive continuous improvements in design processes and propose strategies to elevate output quality
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure consistency in design outputs
- Drive the evolution and adherence to SafetyWing's design system
- Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Add depth and meaning to product experiences while maintaining SafetyWing's core values
Requirements
- Advanced product design experience demonstrated through a portfolio of impactful design solutions
- Experience designing user experiences within insurance, finance or other compliance regulated sectors
- Ability to design beyond the screen, considering dependencies, user flows, and long-term product architecture
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Commitment to continuous learning of new features
- Experience conducting usability testing
- Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and champion design principles across diverse audiences
- Ability to understand broader business and product strategy
- Intellectual curiosity and openness to new ideas
- Creativity and boldness in addressing problems
