About the role
- Freelance graphic and motion designer creating marketing assets for Sago Mini’s preschool children’s apps. Editing photos and videos, developing branded layouts, and supporting playful marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Edit photos and videos for paid and organic channels
- Create graphics and new design layouts
- Work within product brand guidelines and templates
- Collaborate with teams and internal stakeholders to execute creative work
- Perform other design-related tasks as needed
Requirements
- 1+ years of related experience
- Bachelor degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience creating visual assets for digital media
- Strong background and skillset in video and photo editing
- Strong graphic design and layout skills
- Strong proficiency and experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with motion graphic design and/or 2D animation is an asset
- Experience working with creative briefs and understanding project demands
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Experience working with brand guidelines
- Ability to take art direction and incorporate feedback into deliverables
- Ability to be flexible and work on a variety of projects
- Linked website/portfolio of design work required for consideration
- Proficiency with Figma is a nice-to-have
- Experience with app-related assets and platforms is a nice-to-have
