About the role
- SAP Integration Developer designing and maintaining SAP integration solutions within technology ecosystem. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable SAP integration solutions.
- Develop interfaces and integrations using SAP Integration Suite, IDocs, BAPIs, and web services.
- Design and expose OData services (V2 and V4) to support application integration.
- Develop CDS Views to model data and support operational needs.
- Ensure the quality, security, and performance of integrations.
- Monitor, support, and resolve integration-related incidents.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Participate in testing phases (unit, integration, acceptance) and deployments.
- Document solutions and contribute to development and integration best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement of integration practices and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in SAP development, with a focus on integration.
- Strong experience in SAP ABAP development and understanding of the SAP development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
- SAP Integration Suite
- CDS Views (Core Data Services)
- OData services (V2 and V4)
- Knowledge of SAP integration technologies such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, and Web Services.
- Solid understanding of integration processes in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or who are English-speaking on a daily basis.
