About the role

  • SAP OTC Consultant enhancing SAP solutions for order-to-cash processes in the CPG and Wholesale sectors. Collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis, design, and optimization of OTC processes within SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to identify gaps, define requirements, and recommend best-practice solutions.
  • Configure and enhance SAP modules related to Order Management, Pricing, Deliveries, Billing, Credit Management, and Customer Master Data.
  • Support full project lifecycle activities including blueprinting, configuration, testing (UT, SIT, UAT), go-live preparation, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams involved in Procure‑to‑Pay, Logistics Execution, Demand Planning, Finance, and Master Data.
  • Apply industry-specific best practices for high-volume order processing, promotions, trade terms, distribution challenges, and direct/indirect sales channels.
  • Optimize processes for service level performance, inventory accuracy, and customer fulfillment efficiency.
  • Provide level 2/3 functional support for SAP OTC operations.
  • Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
  • Propose continuous improvement initiatives that enhance process efficiency and system reliability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP OTC or SAP SCM Consultant.
  • Strong expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and OTC-related integration with MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), WM/EWM (Warehouse), TM (Transportation), an asset.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
  • Knowledge of IDoc processing, EDI, pricing configuration, and master data governance.
  • Proven background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and/or Wholesale distribution.
  • Understanding of high-volume sales, order automation, trade promotions, and retail/wholesale customer requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
  • SAP certifications in SD or SCM are a strong asset.
