About the role

- partner closely with various teams for consistent engineering practices
- implement and manage infrastructure-as-code practices
- configure and support workflow scheduling and job orchestration systems
- monitor data systems, identify failures and performance issues
- support data platform security, access controls, and compliance requirements
- define and maintain operational standards, documentation, and runbooks
Requirements
- experience as an individual contributor within Data Engineering or Platform Engineering environments
- proven success in DevOps or Data DevOps Engineer roles supporting data platforms, deployment pipelines, and data operations
- strong, practical knowledge of data governance, access control, security, and compliance
- hands-on experience with source control systems, GitHub workflows, and deployment automation
- strong command of modern Data DevOps practices
- experience supporting cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP)
- proficiency in scripting or programming languages for automation and operational tasks (Python or similar)
- familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and practices
- experience with workflow scheduling or job orchestration systems (e.g., Airflow or similar)
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
