About the role

  • Field Health Case Manager coordinating pharmaceutical patient support programs for patients and clinics across Quebec. Supporting enrollment, reimbursement access, clinic training, and treatment access.

Responsibilities

  • Manage various aspects of Patient Support Program service coordination for patients prescribed medication by physicians
  • Provide PSP service support to patients and clinics, including clinic training, patient enrollment, obtaining private and provincial drug-plan coverage, and ongoing support
  • Interact face-to-face with clinics, program personnel, and client personnel
  • Perform in-clinic and remote PSP service activities within the assigned territory
  • Use PSP applications and software to complete reports, enrollment forms, reimbursement forms, and other program functions
  • Schedule and manage weekly clinic visits
  • Support PSP dose reconciliation
  • Assess PSP services and suggest improvements to outcomes and service quality
  • Complete timesheets, expense reports, mileage reports, and validate CRM reports
  • Train physicians and clinic staff on PSP service offerings
  • Determine necessary PSP elements for enrolled patients within contractual limitations
  • Assist clinics with patient-status review and enrollment
  • Prepare or assist with Special Authorization submissions by reviewing patient charts and previous therapies and tests
  • Request PSP materials from the client as needed
  • Enroll patients and assist clinics with reimbursement documentation
  • Coordinate and track patient services to expedite access to therapy
  • Provide clear information about PSP services to patients and clinics
  • Enter sensitive patient information accurately and completely
  • Report adverse and serious adverse events according to approved SOPs
  • Follow Sentrex’s code of conduct, regulations, and legislation
  • Provide ongoing field feedback to the Field Supervisor and Program Manager
  • Collaborate with the Key Account Specialist, client, program personnel, and stakeholders to address clinic needs and deliver PSP service solutions
  • Perform additional duties as determined by the manager

Requirements

  • Completion of post-secondary education is required
  • Bilingualism in English and French is required
  • 3–5 years of experience in reimbursement and/or Patient Support Programs
  • Experience with reimbursement billing, special access, appeals processes, and field-based reimbursement support and consultation is an asset
  • Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structures, systems, and processes is an asset
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset
  • Professional demeanor and effective communication with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clinic personnel, colleagues, and client personnel
  • Must be able to work from home and have a quiet, dedicated office space
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret regulations and legislation
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong typing skills and the ability to use various computer-based programs effectively
  • Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift and carry products weighing up to 25 lbs.
