About the role
- Chargé de projets principal en infrastructures pour la Sépaq, qui gère les parcs nationaux du Québec. Coordination de projets d’immobilisation, appels d’offres et suivi de chantier.
Responsibilities
- Implement capital projects by contributing to their planning and supervision
- Validate construction programs while adhering to budgets and timelines
- Assess professional expertise requirements
- Participate in the selection of consulting firms and retain their services in accordance with Sépaq policies
- Validate and coordinate the work performed by external professionals and contractors
- Prepare tender documents, analyze bids, and make recommendations regarding contract awards
- Conduct site monitoring and project administration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or equivalent training
- Membership in the Ordre des architectes du Québec or the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec is an asset
- Eight (8) years of experience in project management or coordination
- Leadership, autonomy, and strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Valid driver’s license and availability for frequent travel
