About the role
- Senior Guidewire Developer responsible for delivering enterprise-grade software solutions at SGI Canada. Leading projects, mentoring team members, and driving technical excellence in Guidewire Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Deliver enterprise-grade software solutions using the Guidewire Cloud product suite
- Lead configuration and integration development efforts within the Guidewire Cloud platform
- Serve as a technical expert in delivering complex projects
- Provide mentorship to team members including Developers and Intermediate Guidewire Developers
- Drive development excellence and address technical debt
Requirements
- Four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study (e.g., Information Technology)
- Guidewire Developer Associate certification
- 3 – 5 years of directly related experience in Guidewire software development
- Advanced knowledge of agile software development lifecycle methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of Guidewire Cloud platform architecture and components
- Advanced knowledge of software languages (Java, GOSU, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Guidewire frameworks/tools
