About the role

  • Senior Account Executive driving outbound B2B sales for Signal49 Research’s subscription and membership products. Building executive relationships and high-value pipeline remotely across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance for Signal49 Research subscription-based or membership-based products
  • Lead outbound campaigns to promote and sell subscription-based or membership-based products
  • Follow up with and qualify contacts from web registrations, promotions, events, and other marketing and sales activities
  • Use vertical knowledge and industry insights to discuss Signal49’s offerings
  • Research prospective customers and identify decision-making contacts and roles
  • Use social media, email, phone, and creative customer engagement approaches to secure appointments
  • Strategize and collaborate with internal colleagues and stakeholders
  • Update tracking systems and tools with customer information, sales activities, and opportunity details for account planning
  • Act as an ambassador for Signal49 and provide a superior customer experience
  • Produce high-quality work and demonstrate professional values in interactions with colleagues and customers
  • Build new pipeline from the ground up and drive high-value opportunities through consultative, solution-driven selling
  • Engage executive-level stakeholders and advance qualified opportunities

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in B2B sales
  • Completion of post-secondary education in business administration, marketing, or sales related discipline
  • Proven record of prospecting for new business through regular outbound sales activity, including calls, emails, and securing booked appointments
  • Experience selling intangible, consultative, or SaaS adjacent/solution-driven offerings
  • Experience building client relationships with VP-level and C-suite decision makers
  • Ability to consistently exceed performance objectives
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency using CRM platforms to manage pipelines and track activity
  • Familiarity with sales outreach tools, Sales Navigator, and digital sales workflows
  • Ability to travel within Canada
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
  • Self-starter attitude, strong organizational and time management skills, and proactive communication
