Vice President leading Sitero’s global clinical trial operations for life sciences clients. Scaling delivery, eClinical technology, AI capabilities, quality, and financial performance.
Responsibilities
Define and execute a global clinical operations strategy aligned with Sitero’s growth objectives, client expectations, and integrated service delivery model
Lead and scale global clinical operations teams
Drive operational excellence across clinical programs, focusing on quality, speed, and consistency
Oversee the full lifecycle of clinical trials from study startup through closeout
Establish and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and dashboards
Optimize global resource planning and utilization
Embed quality-by-design principles and address audit findings, CAPAs, and continuous improvement
Ensure consistent implementation and evolution of SOPs, processes, and governance frameworks
Serve as executive point of contact for key clients
Partner with Business Development and Commercial teams on proposals, bid defenses, and client presentations
Integrate eClinical technology solutions into clinical operations
Champion AI-driven tools and analytics for trial execution, forecasting, risk identification, and decision-making
Lead cross-functional alignment across Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Data Management, Biostatistics, Product Management, and Quality
Build and develop a high-performing clinical operations leadership team
Establish career pathways, training frameworks, and succession planning
Own clinical operations financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, revenue realization, and margin optimization
Contribute to operational scaling, global expansion, and M&A integration initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field
15+ years of progressive clinical operations leadership experience within a CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical environment
Experience leading global, multi-functional clinical operations teams across multiple regions
Proven record delivering complex clinical programs at scale
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Experience integrating technology and/or eClinical platforms into clinical delivery models
Exposure to AI-enabled solutions is an advantage
Strong financial acumen, including budgets, forecasting, and operational P&L drivers
Experience supporting business development, proposals, bid defenses, and client relationship management
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to influence at the executive level
Ability to operate effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced, and evolving organization
Willingness to work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with additional hours as needed
Willingness to work shifts as needed
Canada-based employees must work from the Mississauga office three times per week
