About the role

Business Analyst mapping Dhilmar’s mining processes and system integrations. Building SQL, Python, BI, and workflow tools for Skiffra’s industrial AI platform.

Responsibilities

Map and document end-to-end business processes across maintenance, fleet, plant, supply chain, HR, and finance
Visit the Éléonore site and run workshops to identify gaps between documented and actual processes
Analyze integrations between operational and enterprise systems
Specify data movement, ownership, quality, and lineage
Quantify value at stake and build dashboards, data pipelines, or workflow applications using SQL, Python, and a BI or low-code layer
Translate operational language into system requirements and system behavior into language understood by the site
Establish named business ownership and sign-off for documented processes
Train client users, transfer ownership, and document deliverables
Work with Skiffra founders and engineering and product teams to rapidly ship production tools

Experience in business analysis or business process mapping
Exposure to an industrial, asset-intensive, or mining environment is ideal
Working-level SQL and Python
Comfort with a BI or low-code tool
Practical exposure to an ERP; SAP strongly preferred
Comfort running workshops and translating between operational staff and technical teams
Understanding of data governance concepts: ownership, lineage, and quality
Fluent French and working English
Based in Montreal
Available to travel regularly to the Éléonore operation, approximately once a month
Prior exposure to mining, heavy industry, or another asset-intensive environment is a nice to have
Experience in a carve-out, post-acquisition, or greenfield environment is a nice to have
Familiarity with a modern data platform is a nice to have
Time in a startup or founding-stage environment is a nice to have
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
