Talent Acquisition Partner for SMS Equipment responsible for high-volume recruitment in skilled trades. Collaborating with hiring leaders and ensuring exceptional candidate experiences while managing multiple recruitment initiatives.

Responsibilities

Manage high-volume, full-cycle recruitment for trades and hourly roles across the organization
Execute hands-on recruitment activities, including posting opportunities, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
Collaborate on hard-to-fill and specialized technical searches using targeted sourcing strategies
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders to clarify search requirements and provide guidance on candidate selection
Build credibility through technical recruitment expertise and solid business acumen
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience
Balance multiple requisitions and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and quality outcomes
Contribute to recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives

5+ years of experience recruiting skilled trades and craft professionals
Strong understanding of trades-based hiring and workforce planning
Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience recruiting for skilled trades positions such as Heavy Equipment Technician, Welder, Electrician, Parts Technician
Strong sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and full-cycle recruitment administration skills
Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Experience using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications
