About the role

  • Web Application Developer joining a fast-paced team to create and maintain applications for SNDL, Canada's largest private-sector liquor and cannabis retailer. Focusing on systems analysis, programming, and database efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with stakeholders and team members to gather and refine requirements for applications
  • Evaluate potential impacts of processes and systems and factor these influences into solutions
  • Conceptualize, design, code and test major enterprise level applications
  • Monitor, tune and enhance applications and database performance
  • Develop and implement SQL jobs and develop for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Work with full stack development using the latest technologies such as MVC, Web API’s, SQL, Azure, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, REST, SOA and Agile
  • Work with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce, integrating them with our in-house product and inventory systems
  • Maintain a good understanding of relational databases (including, tables, views, indexes)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum, 5 to 7-years’ system analysis, programming and database experience
  • Minimum, 3-years’ experience in application development and Software Development Life Cycle
  • Minimum 3-years’ experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, programming stored procedures, functions and views with experience in data applications and query optimization
  • Microsoft professional certifications will be considered an asset
