About the role
- Fullstack Software Engineer building Snowflake’s cloud data engineering applications. Developing scalable ingestion, pipeline authoring, and observability experiences with Python, TypeScript, React, NodeJS, and Java.
Responsibilities
- Drive high-impact initiatives spanning product areas and the technology stack, including Python, TypeScript, JavaScript (React), and NodeJS
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team and partner with embedded product managers and designers
- Deliver features requiring close coordination with sister teams
- Contribute to product vision and drive team planning
- Build scalable, high-performance software
- Mentor, coach, and empower junior team members
- Craft data ingestion, pipeline authoring, and observability experiences for Snowflake customers
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on software development experience, including significant full-stack software development experience
- Deep understanding of modern web application design and architecture
- Good API design patterns
- Knowledge of security, performance, and scale
- Ability to work on the middle tier using NodeJS and Java
- Knowledge of database internals and SQL is a big plus
- Passion for building customer-facing products
- Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related majors
