Responsibilities
**Activities:**
Follow the appropriate process, primarily based on the methodology in force at the Régie (Green Guide derived from the Macroscope MD methodology).
Participate in activities according to the agile methodology, including preparing reviews, retrospectives, iteration planning and daily stand-ups.
Understand technical implementation requirements.
Break down the system components to be developed.
Identify common components to create or reuse.
Create or update the system's organic documentation.
Perform programming on the relevant platform.
Ensure alignment and compliance with the system architecture.
Perform all levels of testing (including unit and regression testing) and prepare the test plans and test data.
Support the execution of functional and system tests.
Deploy the solution.
Provide production support, deployment support and post-deployment support.
Participate in project meetings and recurring project activities related to system maintenance and evolution.
Perform activities related to component management across environments.
Provide user support.
Create or update the deployment plan for production rollout.
Any other activity required within the scope of the project.

System dossier and organic documentation.
Program code and other IT components.
Test dossier including test plans and permanent test datasets.
Production dossier.
Promotion/graduation of components across environments.
Solution deployment plan.
Operational guides.
Updates to registers and the EI dictionary.
Documentation related to component management.
Forms and various requests for other VPTI sectors (security, magnetic space, development support, integration, data administration, etc.).
Any other deliverable required within the scope of the project.
Requirements
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
1. Hold a College Diploma (DEC) in Computer Science or a College Studies Certificate (AEC) in Computer Science (or a comparative assessment issued by MIFI for diplomas obtained outside Quebec); otherwise have three (3) additional years of experience in lieu of this criterion.
2. Have eight (8) years of experience as a programmer in system development, maintenance and enhancement.
3. Have accumulated 1,000 person-days within the last six (6)* years in the field of maintenance, enhancement and development of systems in a technological and organizational environment comparable to that of the Régie.
4. Have five (5) years of experience as a programmer including use of the Web N-Tiers workshop or Microsoft Visual Studio .Net development environment.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
Have at least six (6) months of experience within the last three (3) years in one or more of the following technologies: Oracle database; Teradata database (or equivalent data warehousing/information system).
