About the role

Engineering Intern in Hydropower & Dams team, assisting in design and analysis tasks. Gaining hands-on experience in civil engineering projects focused on renewable energy.

Responsibilities

Assisting the engineering team in designing and optimizing hydropower and dams structures.
Performing design and drafting tasks following industry codes and client standards.
Conducting modeling and analysis of structures or the flow through natural rivers, lakes, hydraulic water conveyances and control structures using relevant software tools.
Estimating power and energy from existing or planned hydropower plant.
Supporting the project teams in the development of design documentation, plans, and reports.
Conducting site visits as required.
Participating in project coordination meetings.

Engineering student at an accredited Canadian university. Post graduate candidate preferred.
Prior work experience with hydroelectric facilities preferably within a consulting engineering or utility environment an asset
Knowledge of a variety of software programs used in engineering analysis and design; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Eligible to work in Canada for a work term from May-December 2026 (8 months)
