About the role
- Engineering Student internship supporting Ports and Marine Terminals projects at Stantec. Gaining hands-on experience and contributing to project execution with a focus on marine infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide general support to the project management team, including administrative tasks
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities
- Help prepare project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
- Assist in monitoring project budgets and financials
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements
- Assist in preparing drawings, calculations, drafting technical reports, memorandums, and other technical documents
Requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Currently enrolled in co-op or equivalent post-secondary program with availability for a 4-month internship
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Civil or Structural Engineering degree program
