About the role

Engineering Student internship supporting Ports and Marine Terminals projects at Stantec. Gaining hands-on experience and contributing to project execution with a focus on marine infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Provide general support to the project management team, including administrative tasks
Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities
Help prepare project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
Assist in monitoring project budgets and financials
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements
Assist in preparing drawings, calculations, drafting technical reports, memorandums, and other technical documents

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Currently enrolled in co-op or equivalent post-secondary program with availability for a 4-month internship
Currently enrolled in an accredited Civil or Structural Engineering degree program
