About the role

Transportation Engineer leading municipal transportation design projects in Ontario. Collaborating with project teams and managing design, budget, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

Leading and assisting municipal transportation design projects for clients across Ontario
Directing roadway design staff and managing multi-discipline project teams
Financial management of projects including budget forecasting, resource management, change-order management, and client invoicing
Developing proposals, budgets, and schedules, and ongoing business development and liaison with clients
Collaborating with Transportation Leaders and other Project Managers to identify staffing, equipment, and training requirements
Supporting the Stantec Quality Management System, and promoting Stantec’s Environmental Health & Safety program
Ensuring that the required functions of the project are satisfactorily performed
Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Building a strong culture of quality design and teamwork
Other duties as assigned/required

University or college degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in the field of road design and construction
Professional Engineer (P.Eng. or LEL) is required
Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience with project management or engineering design responsibilities
