• Identify, screen, interview, and hire qualified experienced CDL drivers
• Review the 10thStreet ATS online database and referrals to source potential CDL drivers
• Contact candidates by phone, email, and other communication methods
• Provide information, build rapport, and influence potential drivers to drive for Stevens Transport Inc
• Review DOT, state, local, and company requirements to assess qualifications, experience, and CDL compliance
• Conduct in-depth phone interviews evaluating driving skills, work history, and company-standard alignment
• Verify driving records, criminal records, and employment history
• Maintain accurate candidate documentation and information
• Administer relevant tests or assessments
• Collaborate with hiring managers to select candidates for available CDL driver positions
• Extend job offers and negotiate compensation packages as needed
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, training, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations
• Schedule and confirm new hires for orientation and training
• Generate recruitment reports and metrics
• Manage candidate data using recruitment software and databases
