About the role
- Software Engineer at Sun Life focusing on development, implementation of large-scale applications, and CI/CD systems. Collaborating with teams and providing operational support.
Responsibilities
- Provide packaging instructions for software rollout teams.
- Test software rollout packages for functionality on different configurations.
- Build example applications for onboarding and training.
- Collaborate on the delivery of fully automated CI/CD systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical operational issues related to the DevOps pipeline.
Requirements
- University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or Technology
- 2+ years of development experience in Java
- Experience with full application development life cycle
- Experience with scripting languages such as Groovy and Shell
- Working knowledge of Java, J2EE, Liberty, Tomcat, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Microsoft .NET, Unix, Windows Server, IIS
- Experience with source code management tools such as Bitbucket, Git, Azure DevOps Server.
- Experience in using and configuring build tools and orchestration.
