About the role
- Early-career full-stack engineer building AI-native features for Superhuman’s Grammarly, Coda, Mail, and Go productivity products. Developing scalable web systems used by millions.
Responsibilities
- Ship production-grade code impacting over 40 million daily active users across AI-powered productivity tools
- Build and iterate on features for Grammarly, Coda, Superhuman Mail, and Go
- Work with cutting-edge AI technologies and modern web frameworks
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver user experiences
- Develop AI-native features using large language models, natural language processing, and intelligent automation
- Learn and build large-scale distributed systems that are highly available and reliable
- Apply best practices in system design, testing, deployment, and scalability
- Contribute to technical discussions and help shape team project direction
- Grow through mentorship, feedback, and hands-on ownership of real projects
- Make an impact on millions of product users
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Graduating in 2026 or 2027
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or C++
- Experience with web technologies, including React, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Experience building software through internships, personal projects, open source contributions, hackathons, or coursework
- AI-native experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex for productivity gains
- Solid understanding of system design, databases, and back-end architecture
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manage tasks and priorities, analyze and execute work efficiently, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Previous internship experience at a technology company is nice to have
- Exposure to AI/ML tools, APIs, or frameworks such as OpenAI, LangChain, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is nice to have
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and testing frameworks is nice to have
- Track record of shipping projects end-to-end is nice to have
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and learning new technologies quickly is nice to have
