Games operations coordinator supporting the Canadian Paralympic Committee’s multi-sport programs. Managing communications, operational reporting, information systems, and Games planning documentation.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and distribute Games-related communications, operational updates, key dates, and information among Games Organizing Committees, Games Partners, CPC functional areas, and primary contacts
Maintain and manage operational communication systems, databases, and information tools, including SharePoint, work management systems, HOC Extranet, WorkApps dashboards, email accounts, and Games-time communication channels
Support Games planning and operational coordination by preparing project schedules, milestone tracking, meeting materials, presentations, briefings, operational reports, notes, and after-action documentation
Prepare, coordinate, and standardize operational communication products, including Games information distributions, readiness materials, planning-session documents, team briefings, Games-time updates, site-visit reports, debrief reports, templates, and lessons-learned documentation
Improve division communication systems, processes, tools, document-management practices, and administrative operations
Support assigned minor projects in Games Operations & Delivery
Requirements
2–3 years of professional experience with increasing responsibilities
Experience coordinating information from multiple groups into clear, organized products
Experience supporting meetings, sessions, or operational planning activities
Undergraduate degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, such as Communications and/or Business Administration
Experience with project management and information management platforms such as Smartsheet, SharePoint, Asana, or similar systems
Strong document management, formatting, organizational, version control, reporting, and structured file-system skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
Ability to work evenings and weekends during busy periods
Ability to undertake overnight, overseas, and off-site work or travel
Experience in the Canadian and/or Paralympic sports industry or a related field is an asset
Experience as a Para Athlete is an asset
Bilingualism in English/French is a strong asset
