About the role
- SVP leading SWTCH’s EV-charging product, software, and hardware organizations. Owning technology strategy, scalable platforms, reliability, and executive-level growth execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead Product, Software Engineering, and Hardware organizations
- Create a unified technology organization with clear priorities, ownership, and accountability
- Own technology and product strategy and translate growth plans into a roadmap across product, software, hardware, and infrastructure
- Balance customer needs, market opportunities, commercial priorities, and platform investments when shaping the product roadmap
- Drive technical architecture and scalability for the platform, systems, charging network, and product ecosystem
- Establish standards for reliability, safety, quality, security, testing, validation, releases, and production performance
- Ensure integration across hardware, firmware, software, and cloud systems throughout the product lifecycle
- Strengthen engineering and product execution, predictability, discipline, accountability, and delivery
- Build and develop a high-performing technology leadership team
- Partner with the CEO and executive team on company strategy, technology investments, business priorities, and technical decisions
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to incorporate customer needs into scalable solutions
- Create a culture of technical excellence, ownership, collaboration, quality, and execution
- Report to the CEO as a member of the executive team
Requirements
- 15+ years of technology experience
- Significant senior leadership experience
- Experience leading large or complex Engineering and Product organizations
- Strong technical foundation and credibility with engineers and architects
- Experience with hardware-enabled technology, connected devices, IoT, or complex distributed systems
- Proven experience scaling technology organizations and platforms
- Strong track record in reliability, quality, and operational excellence
- Commercial and customer-oriented approach to product and technology decisions
- Strong executive communication and leadership skills
- Experience in EV charging, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, or another hardware/software environment is an asset
