About the role

Senior SAP Basis Consultant enhancing client performance using SAP (Cloud, HANA, S/4, BI). Mentoring within the team and managing complex SAP projects end-to-end in Canada.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the SAP Technical Manager, the Senior SAP Basis Consultant is a member of Talan Americas' Consulting Services team.
You will play a key role in strategically improving our clients' performance by leveraging the SAP ecosystem (Cloud, HANA, S/4, BI).
As a recognized expert in SAP Basis architecture and administration, you will convert your expertise into tailored technical solutions.
Help leaders make better decisions and increase employee productivity through mobile and cloud-optimized solutions.
Act as a technical mentor within the team and manage complex engagements end-to-end.
Recommend optimal architectures to achieve clients' objectives.
Ensure implementation and upgrades of SAP products.

Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of SAP consulting experience.
Strong expertise in Solution Manager and experience with databases such as HANA, Sybase, MSSQL, Oracle, and DB2.
Experience administering operating systems: Windows Server, Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX (an asset).
Experience with other SAP products (S/4HANA, ECC, etc.) and knowledge of DevOps and Agile practices (an asset).
This role requires availability for level 2 support rotation (24/7).
Demonstrated autonomy, creativity, resourcefulness, and strong analytical skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and solve complex problems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English to communicate with clients across North America.
