About the role
- Cybersecurity co-op protecting TD’s banking technology, data, and fraud systems. Testing security solutions, operating tooling, and mitigating cyber and technology risks.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, report on, and mitigate technology, data, vendor, application, infrastructure, information, and Cloud risks
- Operate cyber security tooling and execute cyber security processes and procedures
- Provide defense-in-depth capabilities across technology, data, applications, infrastructure, and Cloud environments
- Test and implement cyber security solutions
- Build automation and integration solutions between cyber security tools
- Provide expert guidance on cyber security tooling capabilities
- Manage technology applications supporting fraud detection and prevention controls
- Support Fraud Technology Solutions through governance, compliance, business processes, and performance management
- Participate in a 4-month co-op/intern work term within Enterprise Protect
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues and participate in TD student programming
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant technology program, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, Financial Analysis and Risk Management, Computing, etc.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Interest in exploring emerging technology
- Prior cyber domain experience is an asset, including identifying, assessing, measuring, and reporting on technology risks
- Experience securing infrastructure and applications, including disaster recovery, security architecture, data loss prevention, and application security services, is an asset
- Experience evaluating detective cyber security controls and improving capabilities within existing tooling is an asset
- Incident response experience is an asset
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree

- Must arrange relocation to a Toronto office and work 4 days per week in office
- Available for the 4-month work term from January 4, 2027 to April 23, 2027
