About the role

  • Manager of Engineering overseeing a team of Engineers at TD, driving technological innovations and tools necessary for effective operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead / manage a team of Engineers / Technology Specialists
  • Oversee related engineering analysis activities and deliverables
  • Provide overall team leadership, training, coaching, development, succession, recruitment and resource management
  • Ensure on-going performance feedback and assessments occur and development plans exist for each team member
  • Engage team with Platform and Journey leads to ensure 2-way feedback of Practitioners occurs
  • Execute introducing engineering tools, methodologies and processes across the enterprise
  • Partner with the Operations team to automatically integrate with appropriate tools and processes
  • Act as the expert or lead innovator and agent of change for the programs and services under management
  • Lead interface with other technology teams to implement best practices, standards and management
  • Anticipate internal/external business and regulatory issues; recommends process/product/organizational improvements

Requirements

  • University or post-graduate degree
  • Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing solutions using Tungsten TotalAgility, Tungsten IPA Agility, Knowledge Discovery and Resistant AI product suite
  • Strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, with practical application in enterprise use cases
  • Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful /headless APIs to enable scalable, flexible architectures
