About the role

Manager of Engineering overseeing a team of Engineers at TD, driving technological innovations and tools necessary for effective operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

Lead / manage a team of Engineers / Technology Specialists
Oversee related engineering analysis activities and deliverables
Provide overall team leadership, training, coaching, development, succession, recruitment and resource management
Ensure on-going performance feedback and assessments occur and development plans exist for each team member
Engage team with Platform and Journey leads to ensure 2-way feedback of Practitioners occurs
Execute introducing engineering tools, methodologies and processes across the enterprise
Partner with the Operations team to automatically integrate with appropriate tools and processes
Act as the expert or lead innovator and agent of change for the programs and services under management
Lead interface with other technology teams to implement best practices, standards and management
Anticipate internal/external business and regulatory issues; recommends process/product/organizational improvements

University or post-graduate degree
Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
7+ years relevant experience
Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing solutions using Tungsten TotalAgility, Tungsten IPA Agility, Knowledge Discovery and Resistant AI product suite
Strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, with practical application in enterprise use cases
Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful /headless APIs to enable scalable, flexible architectures
