About the role
- Senior Manager leading a team to design TD's global identity platforms. Ensuring authentication systems are mission critical and compliant in a global banking environment.
Responsibilities
- Leading a global team of professionals who design and engineer TD's global workforce and application identity platforms
- Ensuring TD's authentication systems are highly available and mission critical focused
- Driving engineering standardization for directory architectures across product families
- Contributing to enterprise identity strategy, including modernization initiatives
- Optimizing workforce authentication landscape
- Enriching relationships with technology partners and stakeholders
- Designing and collaborating on Entra ID (Azure AD) for SSO and MFA
- Acting as a trusted partner and liaison to application, infrastructure, and security owners
- Providing advanced troubleshooting and escalation engagement for L4+ support
- Providing recommendations on value-added architectural improvements / enhancements
Requirements
- 7 – 10 years of progressive experience in identity and access management
- Proven people management experience
- Strong knowledge of directory service frameworks, including Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP-based platforms
- Strong experience in operating mission critical services in large, regulated enterprise environments
- In-depth knowledge in developing mission critical systems that support the 24x7 nature of the business environment
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Deep awareness, knowledge and experience of controls & governance issues affecting LOBs and IT
