About the role

  • Operations Analyst II managing corporate lending transactions and supports a team at TD Securities. Engages in loan administration, process improvement, and client service responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the corporate lending operating environment, related business processes and procedures, and the full transaction lifecycle
  • Process complex transactions accurately, within required timelines, and in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, and applicable Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Perform loan administration activities, including internal account balancing, funds investigation, transaction reconciliation, and completion of loan servicing requests from Deal Analysts
  • Identify, document, and investigate process exceptions or transaction-related issues that extend beyond first-level operations support
  • Refer or escalate processing and operational issues as appropriate, engaging the right partners to support timely resolution and maintain service quality for corporate clients
  • Support the loan servicing team by building operational and business knowledge, evaluating process improvement opportunities, sharing ideas, and transferring knowledge across the team, function, and partners
  • Contribute to consolidated or aggregated reporting in line with business requirements
  • Provide accurate, thorough analysis of key process drivers and root or systemic causes of cross-functional operational issues; interpret findings and recommend solutions
  • Actively contribute as a team member by supporting a positive work environment focused on business service, quality, innovation, and teamwork

Requirements

  • 3 + Years of Corporate/Commercial Lending Operations Experience preferably with a Financial Institution
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, International Business or other related Discipline
  • Have a risk management and control focus with a high level of personal accountability and ownership of their role
  • Highly motivated professional, possessing strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and attention to details
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent listening, conflict resolution and mediation skills required
  • Collaborative and relational work style with proven success in a team environment
  • Good knowledge of the Windows environment and of the MS Office suite, as well as proficiency in Advanced Excel (pivot tables and database management functions, VBA, power pivots, array functions and others)
  • Clear, professional and informative communication style (oral and written) in English
