About the role

  • SAP Datasphere Developer responsible for building data models and reporting infrastructure in a remote role for a Canadian IT services company.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders to review and update FSDs.
  • Create TSDs and related unit testing scripts, and develop reporting objects and code.
  • Gather requirements, build architecture & functional designs, conduct options analysis, champion solutions, and drive deployment & delivery with the customer, systems integrators, and development teams.
  • Build, design, and maintain data models, data pipelines, and data security & privacy policies.

Requirements

  • SAP Datasphere experience: You have at least one year of Datasphere experience as a hands-on developer on Datasphere.
  • SAP Datasphere certifications are ideal.
  • SAP Reporting experience: You have 7+ years of experience across SAP BW, SAC, and Datasphere / Data Warehouse Cloud.
  • Clear communicator: You develop clear, concise documentation (e.g., FSDs, TSDs, code commentary) that make it easy for your colleagues to understand your code and deliver solutions together.
  • Solution-builder: You are excited to get your hands dirty doing the work, understand the needs and desired outcomes at a high-level and at a technical level.
  • Problem solver: You quickly formulate approaches from functional and technical design documents, and are self-driven to research and ask for help to build complex solutions independently.
  • Outcomes driven: You collaborate with your clients and their stakeholders to deeply understand their needs and continuously prioritize your work to meet those needs.
