About the role

Responsibilities

  • Review the documents required for the preparation and execution of the work
  • Follow up on information provided by professionals and contractors
  • Ensure the efficient circulation of documents among stakeholders
  • Participate in the analysis of plans, specifications, and technical documents
  • Identify items requiring clarification from professionals
  • Follow up on technical questions and responses from project participants
  • Document decisions and directions made during coordination meetings
  • Conduct surveys and observations during site visits
  • Compare observed progress with project documents and requirements
  • Report and follow up on identified discrepancies
  • Control documents submitted by contractors and professionals
  • Participate in processing change requests and tracking their impacts
  • Participate in identifying and resolving deficiencies
  • Contribute to the preparation of inspections and acceptance activities
  • Verify the documentation required for project closeout
  • Follow up on revised drawings and as-built (TQC) documents
  • Participate in compiling warranty and project closeout documents
  • Organize and maintain technical files
  • Support the team in contract closeout activities

Requirements

  • Hold a technical diploma or bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the management of building infrastructure construction projects
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience coordinating multidisciplinary work on construction sites
  • Have coordinated work on two building infrastructure construction projects valued at more than $8 million each
  • Have participated in projects completed within the past five years
  • Have coordinated at least one project for a public-sector client
  • Have worked in environments involving the client, architectural and engineering professionals, and contractors
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and document-tracking skills
  • Demonstrate rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills
  • Possess strong communication and collaboration skills
