About the role
- Senior Business Architect leading Salesforce CRM implementations for enterprise clients. Managing requirements, solution design, roadmaps, and Business Analyst teams across strategic transformations.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex, multi-disciplined CRM consulting projects, including tactical, program, and strategy engagements
- Lead Business Analysts and client staff through engagements and requirements elaboration
- Manage a team of at least four Business Analysts
- Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops and support project deliverables
- Lead strategy engagements and customer decision-making
- Develop user stories with acceptance criteria, business process flows, logical data models, and context diagrams
- Lead process re-engineering, personified demo stories, persona definitions, journey maps, and experience maps
- Lead decision tables and data-field mapping for integrations and data migration
- Review and challenge solution designs and co-present solutions alongside Solution Architects
- Identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce and integration tools
- Prepare implementation roadmaps and support organization strategy discussions
- Provide cross-discipline leadership throughout the software development lifecycle
- Support on-time, high-quality software delivery across analysis, design, development, and quality assurance
- Identify scope-creep risks and recommend business-process-focused solutions
- Assist with project planning, tracking, documentation, and status updates
- Participate in implementation planning, including project, issue, communication, and change management
- Establish trusted-advisor relationships with client stakeholders through vision and product roadmapping
- Collaborate with customers, internal technology and product teams, engineering teams, and remote developers
- Lead, manage, coordinate, mentor, and support teams and client escalations
Requirements
- Business Analyst experience across multiple industries with a proven ability to deliver strategic and tactical business objectives
- 7+ years of external consulting experience
- 3+ years of CRM consulting experience
- Hands-on experience with one or more CRM products, such as Salesforce, Siebel, Oracle, Clarify, Vantive, PeopleSoft, or NetSuite
- Experience implementing small, medium, and enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions
- Experience delivering waterfall, agile, and hybrid projects
- Experience with business process mapping methodologies
- Experience leading conversations with large customer groups of 5–30 people
- Demonstrated leadership with direct responsibility for project deliverables
- History of delivering high-quality results on schedule and within budget
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to weigh business and technical requirements to produce solutions and estimates
- Ability to lead small and enterprise-wide engagements, facilitate meetings, mentor junior team members, and support client escalations
- Ability to manage and communicate with remote developers during non-traditional business hours
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Multiple Salesforce.com certifications, such as Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, App Builder, or Platform Developer I
- Familiarity with technical issues and ability to work constructively with engineering teams
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and solve problems proactively
- Experience working in small collaborative teams
- Demonstrated people leadership, teamwork, client focus, accountability, innovation, creativity, and problem-solving
- Ability to develop client strategies or roadmaps for onboarding or digital transformation anchored in Manufacturing, Distribution, and Automotive use cases
