Responsibilities
- Guide the establishment and operationalization of SRE practices and discipline within TELUS
- Facilitate cross-functional conversations with technical and business stakeholders
- Develop and deploy automation solutions and infrastructure-as-code capabilities
- Coach and develop your team of Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience managing engineering teams in reliability, operations, infrastructure, or similar roles
- Deep expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong background in automation and infrastructure-as-code
- Demonstrated experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and driving operational excellence initiatives
- Understanding of AI/ML applications in operations
- Experience in telecommunications, network operations, or large-scale distributed systems
- Proficiency with monitoring, observability, and alerting platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Grafana, or similar tools)
- Advanced knowledge of English is required
