About the role

  • Product Designer shaping thoughtful user experiences for Tempo’s product suite. Collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Research on end-to-end design of features or smaller product areas.

Responsibilities

  • Own design for features or focused product areas from discovery through delivery. Your work will have a visible impact across meaningful parts of the product.

  • Understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. Make thoughtful design decisions that balance usability, feasibility, and business value.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality design work across the product lifecycle. Manage scope effectively, communicate progress clearly, and raise risks early.
  • Apply and contribute to Tempo’s design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability across products.
  • Lead by example within projects. Support more junior designers through feedback and collaboration, without formal mentoring expectations.

  • Strong skills in UI design, visual design, and information architecture. You produce thoughtful, polished work and can clearly explain your design decisions.
