About the role

  • Bid Strategy Lead owning complex public-sector RFPs for Think Research, a Canadian health technology company. Building bid processes, content libraries and submission systems across digital health products.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire bid and RFP process end to end, implementing, maintaining and improving it after every bid
  • Coordinate every response between Sales, executives, Clinical, Product, Technology and Security, Legal, Finance and Delivery
  • Run go/no-go decisions with Sales based on fit, win probability and capacity
  • Build response plans with compliance matrices, section owners, internal deadlines and review gates
  • Write and edit clear, compliant responses from clinical, product, technical and delivery input
  • Coordinate commercial and pricing sections through approval with Finance and the Chief Commercial Officer
  • Build and maintain approved answers, security and privacy questionnaires, references, case studies and team CVs
  • Evaluate, recommend and implement an RFP management platform
  • Own RFP intake and a 12-month submission calendar; monitor procurement portals
  • Own formatting, forms, compliance checks and on-time submission
  • Support presentations, demos and clarification rounds
  • Run lessons-learned reviews and track submissions, win rate and cycle time
  • Establish bid/no-bid and RFP intake processes, build a DFD content library and improve response reuse and win rate

Requirements

  • 5+ years of bid or proposal management experience
  • Experience running large, complex public-sector RFPs end to end, with many contributors and 100+ page responses
  • Strong writing and editing skills, producing clear, compliant and persuasive answers from technical and clinical input
  • Rigorous project management across deadlines and contributors, with no missed submissions
  • Working knowledge of Canadian public procurement
  • Confidence working with senior leaders and holding them to deadlines
  • Nice to have: APMP certification
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of healthcare, virtual care or pharmacy
  • Nice to have: Experience with US state or group purchasing organization (GPO) procurement
  • Nice to have: Experience with security and privacy questionnaires, such as SOC 2, PHIPA and HIPAA
  • Nice to have: Proposal software experience such as Loopio or Responsive
  • Nice to have: French
  • Think Research does not require Canadian work experience for this role
