About the role

  • Application Engineer Test Intern validating next-generation field software for construction workflows. Engaging with product management to enhance user experience using advanced hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans for next-generation field software.
  • Validate end-to-end workflows across diverse hardware configurations, including GNSS and optical equipment.
  • Act as the voice of the professional user by simulating workflows for layout technicians and site supervisors.
  • Collaborate directly with Product Management and Engineering to provide actionable feedback.
  • Create technical training materials and documentation to support product launch.

Requirements

  • Background in Engineering, Geomatics, or a related technical field.
  • Strong interest in software testing and validation.
  • Familiarity with field equipment such as controllers, GNSS receivers, or optical instruments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to systematically document and prioritize technical defects.
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex field observations into feedback for development teams.
