About the role

  • P&O operations specialist supporting HR administration, employee services, learning, recognition, and DocuSign processes. Improving people operations for Umicore’s automotive catalyst and recycling business.

Responsibilities

  • Perform P&O operations work to defined levels of quality, speed, and customer satisfaction, including P&O Cares, P&O administration, learning administration, knowledge management, data, and technology
  • Address P&O Cares requests to completion within SLAs
  • Collaborate with P&O stakeholders and local site-level stakeholders
  • Support projects that improve processes, build or adapt services, and implement technology
  • Respond to employee and manager questions and requests via calls, in person, chat, emails, and portal
  • Capture information, work instructions, templates, and reference links to build a regional FAQ
  • Support North America Learning & Development administration, including generating reports, assigning courses, and analyzing training needs
  • Oversee administration and site-level support for the company's awards and recognition program
  • Manage and administer DocuSign for HR-related processes and documentation
  • Participate in improvement meetings and support the OpEx Lead in analyzing data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with P&O technologies (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors, DocuSign) is beneficial
  • Proficient knowledge of HR policies, practices, and procedures
  • Experience with process improvement and operational excellence
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and prioritization capabilities
  • Analytical mindset
